2014 Harriet’s Army – Producer Foz Allan, a 90-minute period drama set in 1914 for the BBC.

A DoP with extensive experience in both High end Digital, (Inc. 4k), and 35mm Anamorphic (3 Features) and 65mm both 8 Perf (Alien3), and 15 Perf (IMAX).

Up to speed on digital acquisition and workflows, Have worked in 4K for the NAB Sony F65 Demo film, seen at the show in Las Vegas. I am also a Sony 4k Independent Certified Expert, (ICE).

Advertising Campaigns

Over 200 commercials and music videos including brands such as Coca Cola, Nurofen Express, Rubicon, RNIB, Nintendo Wii, and Nike. Music shoots include the iconic Robert Palmer video.

Advertising awards include a D&AD for Best photography and DP’d ads that have won most of the major awards including the Grand Prix at Cannes.

Feature Films include

Minotaur  for Lionsgate, With Tom Hardy, Tony Todd and Ruttger Hauer.

Before You Go, Veteran director Lewis Gilbert’s 50th and last film. A wonderful summer shooting in the Isle of Man with Julie Walters, Joanne Whalley, Tom Wilkinson and John Hannah.

Masterminds (Dir. Roger Christian), shot in the States for Columbia starred Brenda Fricker and Patrick Stewart.

Firelight for Buena Vista, (Dir. William Nicholson), won the San Sebastian Silver Seashell for Best Cinematography and was nominated for the prestigious BSC Feature Film Best Cinematography award.

2nd Unit / VFX Unit credits include Alien 3, (Dir. David Fincher), which was nominated for the VFX Academy Award.

I also photographed Stephen Hawking’s Universe, where we awaited time travellers with Stephen Hawking after sending out an invitation…

Stills Assignments include solo photojournalistic commissions in Albania, Sarajevo and Eritrea.

Languages: Bi-lingual in Italian some French and Spanish.
